Terahertz Nanogap Devices for Field Enhancement and Control

Abstract

We show that terahertz electromagnetic waves transmit through λ/10,000 nanogap devices. Both non-resonant and resonant field enhancement are observed in nanogap and nanoantenna. We discuss applications of these structures.
