Understanding Scattering in Silver Nanoparticle Arrays for Improving Plasmon Enhanced Photovoltaic Cells

Abstract

Through the use of Mie theory, finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) modeling and spectrometer measurements, we identify fundamental plasmon resonant scattering behavior in Ag nanoparticles that is beneficial towards improving the performance of plasmon enhanced photovoltaic cells.
