First Experiment on THz Beam Multiplexers Based on Reflection Phase Gratings

Abstract

To generate high efficiency 1D beam multiplexers, reflection phase gratings with continuous profiles were fabricated and tested at terahertz frequencies. The first experimental results are reported and compared with results of simulation using phase-retrieval algorithm.
