Analysis of Nonlinear Electromagnetic Metamaterials

Abstract

We derive the expressions for the effective nonlinear susceptibilities of a metacrystal formed from resonant elements that couple strongly to the magnetic field. We experimentally illustrate the accuracy and validity of our theoretical framework.
