Broadband Relativistic High-Harmonic Generation Using Few-cycle Multiterawatt Light Pulses

Abstract

Relativistic high-order harmonics produced in the interaction of 8fs multi-TW pulses with solids are shown to be significantly broadened as compared to the case of multi-cycle driving pulses. Their potential for single attosecond pulse generation is discussed.
