Fast Linear Approximation for Phase Retrieval of Partially Coherently Illuminated Objects

Abstract

An approximation to partial coherence is shown to improve the performance of a transverse-translation-diversity phase-retrieval algorithm for an object having Schell model partial coherence, with application to the James Webb Space Telescope.
