Aberration behavior of a classical two-mirror telescope in the presence of mount error using nodal aberration theory

Abstract

A path that incorporates freeform surfaces into nodal aberration theory has been discovered. It is applied to reveal a new field dependence that arises in the presence of mount induced error, field conjugate, linear astigmatism.
