Transferring Planar Surface Plasmon Resonance Structures onto Fiber End Facets and Integration with Microfluidics

Abstract

Planar arrays of gold nanoslits are efficiently transferred to the end facets of single mode fibers with high quality, using the “glue and strip” method. A microfluidics integrated fiber-optic surface plasmon resonance sensor is demonstrated.
