Long Range Surface Plasmons in Multilayer Structures

Abstract

We present a systematic strategy for designing asymmetric multilayer structures supporting long range surface plasmons. Aiming towards biosensing applications, we present semi-analytical calculations of a standard surface sensing parameter in arbitrary planar resonant structures.
