Frequency-doubled amplified bursts of high repetition rate picosecond pulses from Yb-doped fiber amplifiers for material processing

Abstract

We use an acousto-optic modulator to pick several picosecond pulses in nanosecond gate width and form bursts. The bursts were amplified by fiber amplifier then use LBO and BBO for frequency doubling and quadrupling respectively.
