Demonstration of Analog Time-Bandwidth Compression Using Anamorphic Stretch Transform

Abstract

We demonstrate a method for compressing the time-bandwidth product of analog signals. By performing feature-selective stretch, it enables digitizers to capture waveforms beyond their bandwidth with digital data size being reduced at the same time.
