Abstract

We present direct measurement of short-wavelength plasmons focused into sub-100nm spot in homogeneous 2D space without nanoantennas or nanofocusing. The short-wavelength plasmons are achieved in a Ag-SiN-air platform and mapped directly by apertureless near-field microscope.
