Fast Brillouin Optical Time Domain Analysis Sensor based on Adaptive Linear Prediction and Cyclic Pulse Coding

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a Brillouin Optical Time Domain Analysis sensor combining adaptive linear prediction with cyclic pulse coding for fast and accurate strain measurement over 10km standard singlemode fiber with meter-scale spatial resolution.
