Abstract
We have explored super-resolved axial imaging by extraordinary light transmission using linear nanoaperture arrays. The method is based on differential fluorescence obtained at nanoapertures with different penetration depth of light. Axial distribution of ganglioside in cells was measured and confirmed an axial imaging resolution as small as 20 nm and 125 nm in the worst case over a 500-nm working axial distance.
