Ultrafast Plasma X-Ray Generation and Applications

Abstract

In the last decade, femtosecond terawatt lasers have enabled the generation of ultrashort x-ray pulses in small-scale laboratories. By combining ultrafast x-ray probing with optical laser pumping, researchers have now access to transient structural informations.
