High repetition rate few-cycle OPCPA for generation of isolated attosecond pulses

Abstract

A 20W average power optical parametric amplifier system delivering CEP stable 5 µJ, sub 5 fs pulses at megahertz repetition rate is presented. First high harmonic generation experiments suggest its feasibility for isolated attosecond pulse generation.
