Hyperspectral cloud-top altitude retrievals methods applied to S-HIS (Scanning-High-Resolution-Interferometer-Sounder) measurements are presented. Included for comparison is an improvement to the traditional CO2-Slicing method. The new method, CO2-Sorting, better determines optimal channel-pairs to apply to CO2-Slicing.
