Quantum Limits of Superresolution for Imaging of Discrete Subwavelength Structures

Abstract

We present quantum theory of superresolving imaging of discrete subwavelength structures. We demonstrate that the standard quantum limit of superresolution for imaging of such structures is much higher than for continuous objects.
