Third-Order Aberrations of an AGRIN Thin Lens as a Function of the Shape Factor and Conjugate Variable

Abstract

This work presents the third-order aberration coefficients of a thin lens made with an axial gradient-index material (AGRIN). These are derived from those corresponding to an homogeneous aspheric thin lens, as it has been proposed.
