Optical Design with Aspheric Surfaces and Exact Ray Tracing: An Analytic Method

Abstract

We present a method to compensate the spherical aberration for any optical system, any object position, in different pupil positions. The aspheric coefficients are variables for compensate, and they are calculated solving first degree equations.
