Impact of the 2D-structured noise in the post-processing of hybrid optical-digital imaging systems

Abstract

We analyze the impact of additive noise with 2D structure at the detector stage of hybrid optical-digital imaging systems. The intermediate image is post-processed with Wiener and Phillips filters and the adequacy of the standard procedures to obtain their adjustable parameters is studied.
