Gas Sensing Platform Using Porous PET Film

Abstract

A low-cost compact planar waveguide platform for gas sensing using in situ liquid crystal in porous PET film is proposed in this study. An ethanol gas sensor is demonstrated with this idea, offering a sensitivity of 150 ppm.
