One-dimensional Photonic Crystal and Photoconductive PbTe Film for Low Cost Resonant-cavity-enhanced Mid-infrared Photodetector

Abstract

We demonstrate and characterize both one-dimensional photonic crystal monolithically integrated on a Si platform, and thermally evaporated PbTe film with room temperature photoconductivity, which are key components for low cost resonant-cavity-enhanced mid-infrared photodetectors.
