Plasmonic waveguide resonators based on hexagonal structures

Abstract

Hexagonal plasmonic waveguide resonators have been proposed and studied using finite difference time domain method. Numerical simulations show that these resonators exhibit unique subwavelength characteristics and added flexibilites compared to rectangular plasmonic resonators.
