Lasing is demonstrated in optically pumped InGaAsP-SiO<sup>2</sup>-aluminum structures, where both the resonator and the optical mode are subwavelength in all three dimensions. In the smallest case, a 550nm diameter InGaAsP disk exhibits lasing at 1390nm.
