Synthesis technique for direct-coupled-resonators bandpass filters

Abstract

An effective technique for the synthesis of selective filters for D-WDM systems realized by cascaded Bragg-gratings, direct-coupled ring resonators or cascaded PBG resonators is presented. The devices are very compact and have a high out-of-band rejection.
