Grating-Assisted Codirectional Coupler Filter Using Electrooptic and Passive Polymer Waveguides

Abstract

We have proposed and demonstrated a band rejection filter based on grating-assisted forward coupling between an electrooptic polymer waveguide and a passive polymer waveguide. A wavelength tuning by the electrooptic effect induced by poling has been also demonstrated.
