Abstract

We have demonstrated a novel scheme of wide and flat optical comb generation by driving a phase modulator with fundamental and harmonic signals. The experimental results have been evaluated with numerical simulation. 17-29 peaks in flat comb with about 10 GHz intervals were experimentally obtained, which showed good agreement with the results of simulation.
