First Demonstration of Cavity-Resonator-Integrated Guided-Mode Resonance Filter

Abstract

A guided-mode resonance filter integrated in a SiO2-based waveguide cavity resonator was designed and fabricated for miniaturization of aperture size. A high-reflection narrowband filter at around 850-nm wavelength was experimentally demonstrated for the first time.
