Polarization-Independent Guided-Mode Resonance Filter with Crossed Integration of Waveguide Cavity Resonators

Abstract

A cavity-resonator-integrated guided-mode resonance filter (CRIGF) can provide high-efficiency narrowband reflection with a small aperture. Polarization-independent reflection was experimentally demonstrated by crossed integration of two CRIGFs with 10 μm aperture for the first time.
