A Novel Fragment-aware Spectrum Allocation Algorithm in OFDM-based Flexible Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose a spectrum fragmentation evaluation standard and a fragment-aware spectrum allocation algorithm in OFDM-based flexible optical networks. The simulation result indicate that the proposed algorithm perform better than previous schemes.
