Plasmon light scattering of a single gold nanoparticle attached to a single mode optical fiber tip

Abstract

Single gold nanoparticle was attached to a single mode optical fiber tip by picking it up from the glass surface. Plasmon scattering from the absorbed nanoparticle was detected through the optical fiber in various solution environments.
