Strong coupling regime for single quantum dots in a semiconductor photonic crystal nanocavity and waveguide

Abstract

We introduce a theory to study strong coupling via reflection in a planar-photonic-crystal waveguide that is side coupled to a nanocavity with 1 quantum dot. Analytical results allow us to optimally design such integrated systems.
