Self-stabilization of carrier-envelope phase of an OPA verified by with a photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

Self-stabilization was verified for the carrier-envelope phase of idler pulses from a noncollinear OPA by spectral interference between supercontinuum(SC) and its second harmonic. SC is obtained by transmission of the idler through a photonic-crystal fiber.
