Abstract

High-brightness white light point source using 10-μm-core diameter Ce,Sm:YAG double cladding crystal fiber was successful fabricated. The luminance and luminous efficiencies were 2.56×10<sup>10</sup>cd/m<sup>2</sup>and 11.2 lm/W, respectively.
