Not Accessible

Abstract

sRGB, and much of television and desktop monitor viewing, has been based on the practical result that daylight balanced displays remain constant in appearance over a wide range of viewing conditions. This in turn has provided a framework for display colorimetry and image processing These conditions are no longer true in mobile displays. Changes in technology and viewing conditions require new thinking about color encoding and presentation.
