All-semiconductor-laser light sources generating high-peak-power picosecond optical pulses

Abstract

We have developed highly functional all-semiconductor-laser light sources at the wavelength of 400 and 800 nm. These light sources have been successfully applied for three-dimensional optical data storage as well as for two-photon fluorescence bioimaging.
