Abstract

We describe a frequency-stabilized cavity ring-down spectroscopy apparatus enabling high-resolution line shape measurements of water vapor. The measured line strength and broadening parameter for the H216O transition at wavenumber 10687.36/cm-1 are compared to literature values.
