Abstract
The validation of computational fluid dynamic simulations describing turbulent flames requires reliable experimental information on the flow and scalar field. To measure scalar field properties spontaneous Raman scattering proved to be a suitable method. In this contribution a method for data evaluation is outlined to calculate mole fractions from experimental data that is based on a full spectral fit. For this purpose theoretical Raman spectra are computed in dependence on temperature and fitted to experimental data.
