Abstract

Graphite ablation experiments are reported using unfocused 532-nm frequency-doubled and 355-nm frequency-tripled Nd:YAG laser radiation. Time resolved emission spectra of C2 Swan bands and C3 Swings bands features near 400-nm are recorded and investigated.
