Elemental mercury detection by multi-mode diode lasers employing correlation spectroscopy

Abstract

A method for elemental mercury detection was demonstrated by employing multimode laser radiation at 254 nm in combination with correlation spectroscopy. The UV light was generated by sum-frequency mixing of two visible multimode diode lasers.
