Abstract

Arbitrary photon generation remains impractical, but in the meantime, use of sources such as those discussed in this paper, either independently or in combination, allows high-performance sensing in gas at almost arbitrary conditions (e.g., P = 0.001–200 bar, T = 280–2800 K)
