Digital In-Line Holography (DIH) for 3D Imaging of Aluminum Drop Combustion in Propellant Plumes

Abstract

Digital in-line holography (DIH) is an optical technique which allows for numerical refocusing after an experiment. Here we discuss application of DIH for high-fidelity visualization and quantification of aluminum drop combustion in propellant plumes.
