This work reports the excited state dynamics performed for free base tetrapyridyl porphyrins (H<sup>2</sup>TPyP) with peripheral ruthenium groups attached to pyridine rings aiming to obtain its photophysical parameters using single pulse and pulse train Z-Scan.
