Abstract

Our group has been working in the development of a compact and robust laser source to be used in a mobile frequency standard that makes use of cold atoms. We devoted efforts to reduce the size of the main driver system, so it should better fit in a reduced size design of the target application. The opto-mechanical setup is designed to use an intracavity ultra narrow interference filter, instead of the conventional grating system.
