Linear and Nonlinear Optical Properties of Au Colloidal Nanorod Systems

Abstract

Colloidal Au nanorods systems obtained by SMG were studied. An average negligible birefringence was measured in the 450-950nm region. Their third order nonlinear response was studied using the z-scan technique at 532nm with 26ps pulses.
