Nanocavities, Artificial Atoms, and Photons: Quantum Optics in the NanoWorld

Abstract

Quantum dots coupled to genetic photonic-crystal-nanocavities offer unprecedented control over light-matter interaction on-chip at the single photon level. I will review recent results in this field, which provide the foundations for transformative photonic quantum technologies. Article not available.
