Transmission and Reflection Characteristics of an Electromagnetically Induced Grating

Abstract

Typical electromagnetically induced transparency properties are modified when the coupling laser beam is replaced by a standing wave. The reflection and transmission behaviors of the probe laser beam for this configuration are examined.
