Abstract

We demonstrate the strong coupling between a CdSe nanocrystal and a single photon mode of a polymer microsphere. The strong exciton-photon coupling is manifested by the observation of a cavity mode splitting of hΩ<sub>exp</sub> ≈37<i>µ</i>eV.
