Abstract

Tunable laser operation was achieved for both 1.33 µm and 1.55 µm telecommunication windows from a single optical center (trivalent chromium). The range is 1160-1620 nm for LiInSiO4 and 1150-1600 nm for LiInGeO4 crystals.
